Thank you for your friendship and support …
We have officially sold the restaurant to the Chhetri family. We thank all of you for supporting us for the last two years. We would not have succeeded without your loyalty and support. We are grateful for all of the friendships we have formed with you, our customers.
The Chhetris have removed the “sitting on the floor” arrangement from the private room. If you would like to have that type of dining experience, please call Sanju at 406-1360 or post a comment to this blog (it will remain private). We can accommodate groups with no children (sorry, state law) in a traditional atmosphere at our lounge location at 110 N. Main. We will schedule your party during non-business hours so you can keep it alcohol-free if you wish. We will bring your meal from the restaurant.
Sanju is still cooking by special request. Give him a call if you would like him to come home and cook for you and your friends or family.
Best wishes for a wonderful 2009!
The Choudhury Family

Please come on in and welcome the Chhetri family! Keshab and Tara and their children have just relocated to Pocatello from Rock Springs, WY.
They have added a salad bar and dessert to the lunch buffet and Tara has added a few new dishes to the dinner menu, with more plans for the future! She is trained in Indian cuisine, but also plans to share some of her favorite Nepali dishes. We are so thrilled that they are sharing their time and talents with us and invite all of our friends and customers to enjoy the new additions! Yum!

Hope everyone had a super summer!
Just a quick note to let you know we have a new lunch buffet. Offerings include rice, dal (lentil soup), Veggie, Chole (Chickpea curry), chicken, papad and raita. Sodas are included. A side of lamb or shrimp curry is just a few dollars extra and samosas, naans, and lassis are also available.
We’re still happy to pack a lunch combo or bowl to go, or food by the tray if you’re having a lunch meeting in the office! Please give us a call for group pricing. 208-406-1360 or 208-478-0172.
As always, thank you for your support!

We get our Indian groceries from a store in downtown SLC. We’ve relied heavily upon the airport shuttles to get our supplies to Pocatello, but with the buyout of SLASH by Salt Lake Express, this has become more difficult.
If you’re making a trip to SLC and have room for a couple of boxes, please give Sanju a call and see if we have an order to be picked up. We’ll treat you to a free meal or gift certificate when you drop the boxes off!
Sanju can be reached at 406-1360.
Thanks in advance for your help!

I’ll be gone to Boise today for the next level of the Toastmaster’s International speaking competition. Renee and team will take good care of you, however. I have just completed most of the cooking (Renee will prepare saag paneer for dinner tonight!) and am about to hit the road! So I’ll see you on Tuesday!
Congratulations to employee Alex Bell on graduating with the PHS class of 2008!

We will be participating in Partnership for Prosperity’s Multicultural Festival in Blackfoot this Thursday evening. Because we’re a family-owned business, we will be unable to keep the restaurant open during our normal dinner hours. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience, but feel free to join us if you can. The festival is from 5-8 pm at the fairgrounds.
WE WILL BE OPEN FOR LUNCH ON THURSDAY!

We’re pleased to be catering at the first Revive at 5 of the season! Please come see us at the Old Town Pavilion between 4 and 8 pm for chicken curry and rice bowls and chole (chickpea curry) and rice bowls.
If the weather clears up, we expect a tremendous crowd at the Old Town Pavilion and will close the restaurant for the evening. If the weather is unpleasant, we will open the store at 330 N. Main, in addition to having a presence at the party!
Hope to see you tonight!
